Today we will preview Quarter 4 and do some reading and writing.
When you arrive to class, look for your new seat. I've given you a seat that I think will help you learn and grow this quarter.
In your journal (or on SeeSaw) start a new journal entry.
Title & date: "Adrienne Rich Poem Response - 4/17/17"
1. Read the quote of the day
(on the chalkboard or below.)
2. Write it in your notebook.
3. Then spend time free writing, annotating, and drawing in response to it. See example of annotation-->
What do you think it means?
What words or phrases do you recognize? What do they make you think about?
What connections can you make?
You can even add some magazine collage if you want!
Quote of the Week:
"We are, I am, you are
by cowardice or courage
the one who find our way
back to this scene
carrying a knife, a camera
a book of myths
our names do not appear."
