DO NOW (10 min.)

We are going to start with keyboarding today.

1. Warm up by practicing for a few minutes.

2. Then take a keyboarding speed test. (do a 3-minute test) THIS WILL BE YOUR LAST SPEED TEST THIS QUARTER.

After you take it--WRITE YOUR SCORE on the chart under the Do Now board near the classroom door. (You don't need to upload it this time.)

* Remember to use the keyboarding finger positions the app teaches you. This will pay off in time. :-)

1. Keyboarding Practice & Test

2. Project Checklist: Fill out the project check-list with your group and decide what you will focus on today

3. Project Work Time: Use it well!

Read for at least 20 minutes about your research topic and/or work on the video/slideshow.

Look here if you need new sources to read. Use the schoology folder on your topic, too!

Learning Goals

Students can learn and improve their keyboarding skills.

Students can organize what they know about their topic and figure out where to go next in creating a teaching text.
