Happy Wednesday!

Today we will do a video response, prepare for conferences, and finish our protest signs.

DO NOW:

Start a new journal entry titled: "Video Response: Some Protests 3/1/17"

TODAY'S AGENDA:

1. Do Now: Video Response: "Some Protests"

2. Conferences Preparation

3. Finish Protest Signs

4. Try out Spark Video

Learning Goals:

Students can explain what a protest sign is and what makes a good protest sign.

Students can deepen their understanding of social issues and activism through viewing and writing in a variety of formats.

Students can reflect on their own learning and work habits and share that information at conferences.

HOMEWORK:

Reading & Writing Points Activities! (Ask me if you don't know how to get these. Or look at yesterday's post.)

READ for at least 20 minutes: a book, news articles, RAZ kids, movie reviews, music reviews, or get more ideas here.
